The applet tag in HTML is used to set a Java applet on an HTML web page.
Note: The applet tag deprecated in HTML5. Suggested use of <object> or <embed> element. Following are the attributes−

| object | name | Specifies the resource that contains a serialized representation of the applet's state. |
| title | test | Additional information to be displayed in tool tip of the mouse |
| vspace | pixels | Amount of white space to be inserted above and below the object. |
| width | pixels | Width to display the applet. |
