I removed the image a few days ago, but {{u|Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )}} re-added it. Grey stated on an enwiki talk page ([[en:Talk:CGP Grey/Archive 1#An image of his face, spoiler alert]]) that he prefers his image not be on Wikipedia, and that should be respected per BLP. The subject has made a specific request for the image to not appear in Wikipedia and {{P|18}} statements are automatically copied to several Wikipedias and other Wikimedia projects. This would be covered by item 2 of the resolution, "Taking human dignity and respect for personal privacy into account when adding or removing information, especially in articles of ephemeral or marginal interest." The subject's appearance is not particularly related to their notability, as their voice is the primary means of public identification. The image would therefore seem to be a factoid of ephemeral or marginal interest. ::An apt expression here is, "closing the door after the horse has bolted." Meaning, regardless of what we do here, his image is already widely available. If you search for "CGP Grey" on Google, an image from outside of Wikimedia is at the top of the results. I have changed my !vote to weak support as even though the principle of respecting privacy of a living person is correct, our decision here only hides his image from those who search within Wikimedia. Anyone searching using an external search engine should find his image instantly. Hundreds of our data reusers (such as databases different from Wikipedia) probably still want to use this image and I imagine the person might not have a problem with those. ::The image on Commons has been nominated for deletion and the discussion is in progress at [[:c:Commons:Deletion requests/File:CGPGrey.png]]. If the image is deleted at Commons then the discussion here is moot; we couldn't add an image even if we wanted to. If the image is retained on Commons, we still need to decide here whether we would use it.
