Anand has over 25 years of experience in global financial markets, with particular emphasis on the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sectors and the Pan-Asian region, and comes with rich experience developed in bulge bracket investment banks and telecom corporate roles. He has worked in Singapore, Hong Kong and Mumbai.

Anand joins us from Singapore Telecom, where he most recently served as Vice President, Business Management, Group CEO Office. During his eight-year tenure at Singapore Telecom, he led strategic initiatives and managed the business and operational cadence.

Before that, Anand had a career in equity research, almost two decades – the last fifteen being with Barclays and Citi in Hong Kong and Singapore. Anand’s concentration was on TMT sectors and he was widely acknowledged for his exceptional analytical skills, deep industry insights, and actionable investment advice. His stint at Citi also included a senior investment banking role, focused on origination and coverage across telecom, media and internet sectors. Anand is a Mechanical Engineer and an MBA by training and holds the CFA charter. He is also a Qualified Listed Entity Director as recognized by the Singapore Institute of Directors.
