1 The First Snow ��һ��ѩ

The first snow came. How beautiful it was, falling so silently all day long, all

night long, on the mountains, on the meadows, on the roofs of the living, on the

graves of the dead! All white save the river, that marked its course by a winding

black line across the landscape; and the leafless trees, that against the leaden sky

now revealed more fully the wonderful beauty and intricacies of their branches.

What silence, too, came with the snow, and what seclusion! Every sound was

muffled, every noise changed to something soft and musical. No more tramping

hoofs, no more rattling wheels! Only the chiming of the sleigh-bells, beating as swift

and merrily as the hearts of children.

2 My Holiday Plan �ҵĺ��ټƻ�

The winter holiday is coming. I am very excited. I want to better my holiday plan.

Now let me tell you my plan.

I��m going to read some books and listen to music and relax for a few days first.

On the fifth day, I��m going to do my homework. Of course, I��m also going to do

some housework. Lunar New Year��s Day, I��m going to take a trip with my parents.

I think it must be very happy. I can hardly wait! In the first six days of February, I��m

going to visit my relatives. It��s going to be fun! After a few days, I��m going to

finish my homework, because I am going back to my school on February 16th.
