Fib Fans from 2011 high (orange), 2015 low (blue), 2016 high (gray). Logarithmic Scale. I am only holding short term positions until this reversal point is resolved.
I think I did the angles wrong. This is the one I'm thinking. Also set to 60min.
Alright, I really think this is what is going to go down. Let's see what i've learned eh?
I believe it will break down to about the 112.4 area at any time now.
It looks like we might get stuck in this flag of consolidation for a bit tonight before a likely run to the 1256 range.
Lines Everywhere! Fib Fans and Retracements. 30m time frame, arithmetic scaling.
1H Fib Fans for USDJPY includes the Bull trend starting summer '16, Bear trend starting December '16, and Bull trend starting this month.
On my previously published fib fans, I was unaware that as you changed time frames, the placement of the fans became inaccurate. So this chart is worked solely from a 1H point of view and reflects both the Bear and Bull markets of 2016 as well as the new Bull market of 2017. I had to remove the prior 2015 trend due to the inaccuracies.
From the looks of it, the next day or two will be very important for Gold. If we break the 2016 down line, the next major point of resistance according to these fibfans will not be until about 1280.
What will happen at the .25 fib? Will we confirm the new Bull Market? I'm not sure but i'm confident we will find out. If I were to take a guess, I would say up. Of course, my chart skills are still fresh and I most likely have it all wrong.
My current JNUG trade. *I am a rookie so trade with me at your own peril!*
I cannot predict what will happen after Yellen speaks, but this is what the chart looks like to me. Short this week then back to long on Monday.
If the USDJPY takes the course I predicted in my last Idea, then Gold would likely take this path.
Isn't this Fun? *I am long JNUG*
It appears like we might repeat the upswing on the 18th. If so, I imagine it would look something like this going forward. Wheres the popcorn?
Chart says it all. I'm still new at this. Wish me luck!
