ES/SPX Morning Update Jan 17thAt first glance, the market’s final hour yesterday looked bearish. However, for those who dont trade with retail..but trade against retail, things were simple. Just wait for retail to get trapped..aka failed breakdown setups (highlighted in plan for today), it was a clear long opportunity. We dipped below the 5974 and 5966 major zones, trapped shorts as usual, and triggered longs for buyers. Now, just hold runners—no further action needed, approaching our 6016 target. Remember, most professional traders dont trade on Fridays, and i rarely do as well. It's usually just managing runners from Thursday…if i have any. Capital preservation should be your main goal every Friday, with the only set ups being took are textbook failed breakdowns.

ES/SPX Morning Update Jan 16thYesterday, CPI took us up to targets 5965 and 6004, right at a major resistance that held firm overnight. The market remains tricky—consider reducing your position size for today til more setups emerge
As of now:
• 5984 = support; it must hold to keep 6004, 6016, and 6043+ in play
• If 5984 fails, look for a selloff to 5972, then 5952
S&P500 Only buy above this level.S&P500 is trading on a Channel Up and today crossed over the MA50 (1d) again.
In order to confirm any bullish sentiment, it has to cross above the Falling Resistance coming from the previous high.
If it does, it can technically follow the growth % of the previous bullish waves that was +7.15%.
Trading Plan:
1. Buy if the price crosses above the Falling Resistance.
Targets:
1. 6180 (+7.15% from the bottom).
Tips:
1. The RSI (1d) has already crossed over its MA trendline. Already a strong bullish breakout.

S&P500: Every January same rally starting. Target = 6,950.S&P500 is neutral on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 48.738, MACD = -35.090, ADX = 24.753) but just turned marginally bullish on 1W (RSI = 55.182) today. This technically signifies the market's enormous upside potential on the long term. The 2 year pattern is a Channel Up after all and every January since 2023, a new rally starts which exceeds +20% in gains. As long as the 1W MA50 supports, the bullish trend will be dominant. We are aiming for another +21% rise like the previous Jan 2024 rally (TP = 6,950).

ES Morning Update Jan 15thPerfect run in ES, with 5845-50 still acting like a money magnet. Reclaiming 5866 triggered longs to 5882, 5900+, exactly as outlined.
As of now:
• Protect gains and keep a runner on as we head into CPI
• 5882, 5845-50 = supports (recoveries here signal a long)
• If buyers push, 5917, 5936, 5961 are next
• A break below 5845 opens more downside
ES Morning Update Jan 14thYesterday, i gave 3 targets—and all were hit plus more: 5848-50, 5866, 5880. Lock in gains now if you were trailing any runners.
As of now:
• 5882 = support (just tested, and weaker now)
• Holding above keeps 5900, 5918, 5928 in play
• If 5882 fails, sell to 5860, then 5848-50
S&P500 This is why 2025 will be Bullish. The S&P500 index (SPX) just hit its 1W MA25 (red trend-line) for the first time since the August 05 2024 Low (5 months ago). This is a major long-term Support trend-line, the first one out of a total three.
As you can see on this chart, the index has been trading within a Channel Up on the log scale ever since the bottom of the 2008/09 Housing Crisis. During this pattern, it has gone through phases of strong and extended Bull where the 1W MA25 and 1W MA50 (blue trend-line) offers the Support Zone and every test is a buy opportunity and when those break, the Bear phase starts, which finds Support on the 1W MA200 (orange trend-line), with the exception being of course the non-technical, once in 100 years event of the March 2020 COVID flash crash.
It is now the 1W MA25 that comes as the first major Support level and with the 1W RSI forming the same kind of Channel Down divergence as early 2014, we expect further extension of the current Bull Phase into 2025.
In fact, every Bull Cycle has either increased by roughly +100% or +62% and since the current one is way over +62%, it is fair to expect that it will pursue the +100% mark. That is currently exactly at 7000 and could be achieved by the end of 2025 as every previous Cycle Top was priced towards the end its year with a frequency of either 3 or 4 years.

Strategy Winter — Spring 2025. S&P500 Index Choking DiagonalUS markets were shacked on Friday, January 10th, after the December NFP jobs report came in much stronger than expected.
The US economy added 256,000 jobs in December, well above the average economist estimate of 155,000. The unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 4.1% from 4.2% in November, although it remains above its 6-month simple moving average.
The Nasdaq-100 immediately fell about 1%, while the yield on the 10-year US Treasury note jumped nearly 10 basis points to 4.785%, its highest since October 2023.
The strong payrolls report further strengthened the case for the Federal Reserve not to cut interest rates again until at least 2025.
The move in stocks and bonds is a continuation of what has been happening in recent weeks: After a period of mega-euphoric optimism, investors have begun to expect higher inflation driven by President-elect Donald Trump’s proposed trade and fiscal policies. If bond yields continue to rise, Americans will feel the brunt of it.
The CME FedWatch Tool shows that markets now expect just one rate cut of 25 basis points this year, down from as many as three at the end of last year. The odds of no rate cuts in 2025 more than doubled to 28% on Friday morning.
The dollar index TVC:DXY skyrocketed to the Moon, while the yield on 10-year U.S. sovereign bonds TVC:TNX stays well above 4.5%.
Endogenously, the market has been preparing for such turbulence for a long time, as discussed in the previously published idea “Strategy 2025. BTC Airless Scenario Below $100'000 Choking Point” .
I have to remind that the financial market had tough weeks in December 2024, but it could also face a tough year in 2025, as I noted then.
The market was on track for its worst weeks in years after the Federal Reserve gave a hawkish forecast for interest rate cuts in 2025. But looking at the market internals, it was clear that the damage had been done well before the December Fed meeting – and this signal was a historical indicator of tough times ahead.
Thus, Dow Jones Futures CBOT_MINI:YM1! ended 2024 with the 3rd RED WEEK in a row, forming the Bearish Candlestick Pattern "Three Black Crows" on the weekly timeframe, which developed, remarkably, from the all-time highs of the Dow Jones index.
Last week, Dow Jones Futures ended with the 6th RED WEEK in a row - and this is a rather rare event.
Historical backtest analysis over the past 25 years shows that this can lead to a further (at least) 10-percent drop for the Top-30 stock club.
Bulls have done a lot of work, advanced more than 2,000 points in 2023-24, for the S&P500 index. However they were unable to finalize their achievements confidently above the round 6-thousand mark by the end of 2024.
By the way, the same inability in Bitcoin to finalize 2024 above the round 100,000 mark is now repeatedly throwing the market back to lower price marks, as discussed in the recently published idea.
The main technical chart indicates a suffocating bearish diagonal in development for the S&P500 index, with targets for decline down to 5'250 points.
$NQ & ES BearishThe NQ and ES on the monthly chart showed signs of rejection, indicating a possible correction toward a PDA located in the discounted region of this timeframe. Consequently, on the daily chart, there was a shift in the price delivery state, now seeking this liquidity as well as the daily sell sides. We maintain a bearish outlook for the assets, but it is important to note that the price may correct toward the premium region of the daily chart, seeking new liquidity to build momentum and ultimately reach the monthly chart objective: a more pronounced drop.
S&P500: bottomed on Inverse Head and Shoulders.S&P500 turned bearish on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 42.446, MACD = -21.350, ADX = 28.601) as it is under the 4H MA50 since Tuesday. Even though it is on a 4H MA200 rejection, the short term technical pattern that has emerged is an Inverse Head and Shoulders, about to complete the Right Shoulder. With the long term pattern being a Channel Up, we can technically target its top (TP = 6,200), which is under the 2.0 Fib target of the Inverse Head and Shoulders.

ES morning update Jan 8thYesterday, after a pop to the 6045 target, 6004 emerged as the critical bull/bear battle line. Once it broke, a 70-point selloff followed—bears control while it stays below.
As of now:
• 5928 is support.
• 5935 must recover quickly for a push to 5965, then 5982.
• If 5928 fails, expect a selloff toward 5918, then 5900.
S&P 500 struggles at the 1/4 Warning LineLet's not make trading harder than it is.
All we can do is project - or read the Coffee ground.
I'll prefer to use my projections with the Medianlines, using the Fork as my main tool.
The nice part with this is, that I can relay on a proven framework with rules.
Adding some risk & money management to it and the soup is ready to enjoy.
So, I follow the same process with the ES.
I see that price got rejected at the 1/4 line of the WL (Warning Line), and that price missed it to reach the WL1, which is a HAGOPIAN. That makes me lean on the rule, that price will go farther in the opposite direction than from where price came from (U-MLH).
I outlined the scenarios with the arrows what to expect in the next weeks.
Personally I'm overall very, very bearish, and I see the move to the Centerline coming. But this is just my opinion.
ES/SPX Morning UpdateYesterday’s target was around 6070, originating from Thursday evening’s big failed breakdown at 5918 in ES. We hit that level and sold off. Around 4pm yesterday, ES formed another mini-failed breakdown at 6016, up about 10 points so far.
As of now:
• 6016 is weak support.
• Holding above keeps 6043-46, 6066, and 6087 in play.
• If 6016 fails, look for a selloff toward 5997.
S&P500 no major pullbacks expected in 2025. Year-end Target 7200The S&P500 (SPX) has started the first week of the new year (2025) on a positive note following a red December. In fact December was only the 3rd red month of the whole 2024. Based on its 16-year Channel Up pattern, this bullish trend isn't expected to slowdown in 2025.
In fact, no major pull-backs are expected this year, as the end sequence of 2024 resembles the August 2013, which led to a very bullish 18-month period after.
As you can see, the start of the Channel Up, which was the bottom of the 2008 - 2009 U.S. Housing Crisis followed the same stages as the pattern after the March 2020 COVID bottom. The bottoms have been stage (a) with (b) being the first short-term pull-back and (c) the second, which was also a 1M MA50 (blue trend-line) test. It appears that we are currently on stage (d), where as explained led the way to a bullish 18-month period.
The peak of the early Channel Up pattern was on the 2.786 Fibonacci extension from the stage (c) bottom and the 18-month period ended on the 1.382 time Fib extension. If we take the same measurements on the post COVID pattern, the 1.382 time Fib extension lands on October 2026. For 2025 alone we can expect a +23.73% rise from the last red candle of (d), if the post August 2013 12-month pattern is followed, which gives us an end-of-year (2025) Target of 7200.

ES/SPX Morning Update Jan 6thIncredible start from buyers with targets from yesterday are already hitting. On Thursday, longs were triggered in ES after a major Failed Breakdown of 5918-23. Since then, the plan was simple: get long and stay long nd ride runners. Now we’re up +116 points.
As of now:
• Protect gains here; resistance at 6038
• Next levels: 6049, 6070
• 6016 is support; a dip below could spark a pullback
BIG BIG weekI think 7 FED speakers,
A lot of tension in the markets, tops mean polarisation, considering reflexivity theory extreme volatility will ensue.
A lot of people might think the -0.786 ATH we got before the holidays is the top. I think they are mistaken as seen in the analysis below.
There is still legroom for higher, this is a big bet on my part.
I have a few contracts on the mag7 (GOOGL, TSLA and META) focusing on GOOGL since they seem to be in the same headwind as S&P
Let's see how this plays out
🦘🦘 Aussie Kangaroo Returns Home In The OutbackThe Australian dollar has been taking a bath. It’s gone from buying 71 US cents at the beginning of the year to netting you just 63.3 US cents against the benchmark greenback.
The dollar is down over the last year against most currencies, and down over the past few weeks against almost every currency.
The humble Aussie dollar is suffering in particular against European currencies: Pound Sterling, the Swiss Franc and the Euro.
However, even in Japan where the AUD is up over the year so far, it is down in recent weeks.
What’s going on? The answer is two-fold.
👉 America’s economy is stronger than expected. And China is weaker, so Chinese yuan has little to no chance of dethroning the US dollar, even as global de-dollarization happens.
👉 Australia gets hit on both of those trades.
Difference between 10-Year United States and Australian Govt Debt becomes lower
Technical graph for FX:AUDUSD indicates that Aussie has a lot down to deliver.
ES Morning UpdateThanks to a textbook failed breakdown, year 2025 has kicked off in the Green. Mentioned yesterday, a failed break of last week’s 5917 lows triggered will be a good entry... and we’re now up 66 points.
As of now: Protect gains and let the runner ride.
• Supports: 5978 and 5950 to keep 5996, 6004+ in play
• If price dips below 5950, watch for further downside.
