     Rosemary Hilda Chichester was born on 12 February 1926.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur O'Neill Cubitt Chichester and Hilda Grace Young.1,3 She married John Warden Brooke, 2nd Viscount Brookeborough, son of Basil Stanlake Brooke, 1st Viscount Brookeborough and Cynthia Mary Sergison, on 4 March 1949.1 She died on 30 January 2007 at age 80 at Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.3
     From 4 March 1949, her married name became Brooke.1 After her marriage, Rosemary Hilda Chichester was styled as Viscountess Brookeborough on 18 August 1973. She lived in 2003 at Ashbrooke, Brookeborough, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.4

     Lt.-Col. Arthur O'Neill Cubitt Chichester was born on 14 July 1889 at Dorking, Surrey, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Reverend Edward Arthur Chichester and Hon. Mary Agnes Cubitt.2 He married Hilda Grace Young, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Robert Young and Mary Alice Workman-Macnaghten, on 31 July 1924.3 He died on 9 March 1972 at age 82.4
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.4 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He fought in the First World War.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the Surrey Yeomanry.4 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.4 He fought in the Second World War.4 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery (TA.)4 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.4 He lived at Galgorm Castle, Ballymena, County Antrim, IrelandG.1

     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1971, in the service of the 17th/21st Lancers.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermanagh in 1987.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Brookeborough, of Colebrooke, co.      Major Thomas Brooke was the son of Sir Henry Brooke and Anne St. George.2 He married Catherine Cole, daughter of Sir John Cole, 1st Bt.. He died circa February 1696.2 He was buried on 23 February 1696.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the Williaminte Regiment of Foot.2 His estates were declared forfeit by King James II.2 He lived at Colebrooke, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.2

     Sir Basil Brooke was born in 1567.1 He married Anne Leycester, daughter of Laurence Leycester.
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1598 in the English Army in Ireland.1 He held the office of Governor of County Donegal.1 He was appointed Knight in 1616.1 He lived at Brooke Manor, County Donegal, IrelandG.2 He was granted extensive lands, including the Borough and Castle of Donegal, both of which he rebuilt.1
