4. Introduction of the SearchLiteSwitch Utility:

A new feature labeled ‘SearchLite Switch’ is being introduced in Release 12.0. It can be
launched from the Start Menu -> All apps-> Xerox Applications-> SearchLiteSwitch.

Purpose:

Due to the high resolution display of the Surface Pro tablet, it was difficult to select controls
on the SearchLite Header. To address this issue, the PWS team developed a new
component to increase the size of the header. During installation, the SearchLite Header
size will be selected automatically based on detection of the resolution of the device to either
‘Small Band’ recommended for laptops or ‘Large Band’ for tablets.

To support tablet users, the PWS User Interface Preference ‘Table of Contents Font/Icon
Size’ found on the PWS Preferences page has been updated to include SearchLite and
renamed ‘SearchLite and Table of Contents Font/Icon Size’. Original selections of ‘Small’
and ‘Large’ have been changed to zoom magnifications of 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, 200%,
225%, and 250%. Click the down arrow to the right of the ‘SearchLite and Table of Contents
Font/Icon Size’ drop-down list box to select a zoom percentage greater than the default of
100% (150-200% suggested), and then click Finished to save and apply your settings.
Observe the change in font size in the Table of Contents and SearchLite and adjust the
magnification accordingly.
