• Ez Com is a telecommunications billing organization which offers flexible billing solutions on the IBM I including
local, long distance, wireless, international reorigination, telemarketing, operator service, debit processing, voice
mail, and information services.
• Performing information systems consulting, information management development and technical education
assisting clients in development of new systems, providing support of existing operations and effective
implementation of information technology. I am also involved in the development of information strategies, analysis
of business and systems plans and development of standards and procedures to insure effective use of technology in
business.
• New systems written included IP address call processing, Voice over IP capture and process from PC to IBM I,
taxation override maintenance, and e-mail invoices reports from the IBM I for ASP environment.
• Modifications of existing programs have been made in the area of long distance, local provisioning, rating, and
billing modules. 
• Enhancement and modifications of programs on Customer IBM I has been performed as needed. Customer IBM I
are located in various locations throughout the United States. 
• Projects completed for World Exchange in San Diego were, Corporate Billing, vertical and horizontal block
processing, recurring charges using group codes, and sql processing to replace IBM I query no longer available to
the user. 
• Coded using XML specifications for an outside billing provider were further developed. 
• Enhanced Rating and invoicing to handle 1.3 billion calls a month. The large Carrier Customer required extensive
changes to increase through put. 
• Ez Com has an extensive Customer base using an ASP approach and as a result I have also written Customer
Specific programs as required. 
• Multiple data base conversions for First Communications as the result of new acquisitions was performed. 
• Currently using HATS Host Access Transformation Services Rational Business Developer, to migrate from green
screens.

• Teleflex was a telecommunications billing organization which offers flexible billing solutions on the IBM I
including local, long distance, wireless, international reorigination, telemarketing, operator service, debit processing,
voice mail, and information services.
• New systems written included a Trouble Reporting system for local service providers, EMI processing for Sprint
local processing, terminal ID processing, NENA information required by 911 for local providers, load programs
from data provided by telephone switches in multiple formats (ASCII, Binary and EBCIDC), NPA splits, and e-mail
invoices from the IBM I. 
• Modifications of existing programs have been made in the area of long distance, operator service, debit processing,
international reorigination, and billing modules.
• Extensive modifications of invoicing programs, an inquiry program that accesses every file in the system and
online maintenance programs. 
• Coded using XML specifications for an outside billing provider. 
• Teleflex had an extensive Customer base and as a result I have also written Customer Specific programs as
required.

• Coded in RPG400 programs for Extended Warranty System including, Work order approval entry, approved parts
processing, and Claim entry processing.
• Written user requirements were provided and from these documents Files and programs were designed and created
to provide processors to fulfill the Extended Warranty System Requirements.
• Extended Warranty was written to be millennium compliant.

Saville Systems
October 1997 – January 1998 (4 months) Markham, Ontario Canada
• On Saville Project Teams to retrofit Saville’s Convergent Billing For entrance of their customer “GTE” into the
Florida and California Market as the result of deregulation of telephone Services in the US. 
• Coding in RPG400 via seu in the Customer Care Project team, I fielded customer requests and problems, analyzed
the request, developed, and implemented solutions by enhancing functionality or introducing increased editing in
various processors to insure desired results were 
• As a member of the Billing & Post Billing team development, 
enhancements were performed both in COBOL & RPG programming 
languages.
• Cobol programming enhancements to the Vertex US tax processing was performed to introduce increased editing
and process enhancements. 
• RPG coding enhancements were done on online inquiry taxing processors to enable the process of multiple States
ie: California and Florida.

June 1997 – September 1997 (4 months) North York, Ontario Canada
• Discover Card System changes for millennium compliance,
expansion of fields, electronic chargeback enhancement,
and created test region for user testing. Acting as a team
leader working with a junior programmer. Was installed
error free, on time and on budget.
• Millennium compliance was accomplished by performing a 
complete analysis of the RPG and FILE source code with 
programs written using output from DSPFFD &
DSPPGMREF. Date fields were isolated as the result of the
analysis and all files and RPG programs were enhanced
to be millennium compliant.
• The required expansion of a key field for the Discover
Card System was isolated via seu search. File specs
and RPG source were modified, complied, tested, and 
implemented to accommodate.
• Electronic Chargeback Enhancement included the
coding of CL to process an incoming dataset from
a Mainframe located in the US, CL and RPG programs
to process and edit a multiple 80 byte record set to an
IBM I relational database, process existing file updates
as the result of the electronic transaction, and creating
CL to transfer the IBM I relational database to Sears
Mainframe for chargeback notification merchant letters
to be created via DOC1
• The project was kept result oriented with weekly project
meetings informing Management of status, and monitoring
and assisting the junior programmer’s coding efforts to
insure implementation date was met.
• Installation of the System changes was performed after
extensive user testing, and user sign off.
