Philadelphia Medical Reserve Corps Volunteer Alert Network (Present), is a group of medical, public health, and others who are ready to serve Philadelphia during public health emergencies or other times of need. Volunteers are preidentified, pre-trained and pre-credentialed to be ready to respond when an emergency happens. Volunteers supplement existing public health, emergency and medical resources, which may become overwhelmed during a disaster. Magen David Adomthe Red Shield of DavidUK Christian Friends Member (2007 2008), part of the International Red Cross/Crescent movement and an, a-political, non-sectarian organization serving as Israel's only emergency service fundraised while promoting interfaith dialogue and amicable collaborative networks Diabetes Alliance Committee Member (2003 2005), a multi-service network of interested organizations concerned with Philadelphias at risk diabetic population.
