When our people feel safe, supported and empowered within our culture, they do their best work. We actively foster an inclusive culture, attracting diverse talent and ensuring everyone has the opportunities they need to grow.

The UN set out Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for businesses around the world. Savills have aligned with 9 of the 17 UN SDGs, that are the most relevant to our business, three of which come under our culture approach: 

  • Good health and wellbeing: Our goal is to provide healthy workplaces, encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness of mental health & wellbeing.
  • Gender equality: We actively promote gender equality and aim to maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Decent work and economic growth: We are committed to operating responsibly and providing fair, safe and diverse culture.

Our mission to make real estate a career accessible to everyone is already well underway. In 2023, we continued our work on this agenda:  

 

Savills UK retained no.1 in Apprenticeship Employer, Times Property Graduate Employer of Choice for the 17th year running.

Savills North America placed 21st in the Newsweek Excellence 1000 Index, identified as an example of corporate success and responsibility.

  • India won Great Places to Work Award for the second year running. 
  • Savills UK won EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) Programme of the Year at Inspiring Women in Property Awards hosted by Property Week.
  • Bisnow’s UK Rise Initiative recognised Savills UK as one of the companies leading the charge to improve diversity in real estate.
  • Savills North America achieved 84% diversity in the Junior Broker Development Programme.
