Feb. 21 27: All night bluff work to cause noise disruptions

SANDAG is warning that round-the-clock work along the railway Feb. 21-27 will cause significant equipment noise, bright lights and parking restrictions.

Residents from lower 8^th to 11^th streets can expect loud noise from drilling. At the bottom of 9^th Street, 24/7 concrete pumping and truck traffic is scheduled. Bright lights will illuminate work areas.

Parking restrictions are scheduled for segments of 8^th and 9^th streets.

The work is part of SANDAG's Del Mar Bluffs Stabilization 5 project and will coincide with a full closure of the railway from 10 p.m. Feb. 21 through 5 a.m. Feb. 24.

The project is expected to continue through mid-2027.
