Cal Riley Poems

I want to write a poem for the woman of my dreams.
I'd never felt complete til she undone me at the seams.

She was the one when we met,
...

Missing from my life you said,
I'm sure, I feel it too.
You're missing from my life I said,
You said that feelings true.
...

Giz a love.
Blanket yourself over me, as I face the other way, complete.
Laugh as we talk sweet nothings.
Giz a love,
...

I left you with my heart,
I know I hid it rather well.
I couldnt take it with me,
If I did, it was the shell.

This Will Be Deleted

I want to write a poem for the woman of my dreams.
I'd never felt complete til she undone me at the seams.

She was the one when we met,
We kept each other strong.
We nurtured a great friendship,
Where we both feel we belong.

I love her so completely,
Like a lovesick teenage boy.
Im proud of her discreetly,
All though I am never coy.

How audacious of a man like me,
To take her by the hand.
To think she'd fall in love with me,
And life would be so grand.

She did and it was,
And then I fell from heaven.
Flowers for her vase,
And then I landed in depression.

We broke up,
Then broke her heart, in ways I shame to say.
And now I see her beauty in a whole new loving way.

Im better than I was, my mind is somewhat clear.
If I have to live alone for now just know ill keep you near.

I'll fight for you at every turn as if we were together.
I remember when you said that you'd love me for forever.

If i wasn't worthy then when all I did was right.
I sure as hell ain't worthy now with all the wrongs Iv tried.

To say we weren't together then ain't good enough though its true,
I betrayed your love and trust,
And then I lied because I new.

I hurt the one love so much and im the one to blame.
The only soul mate on this earth in which I want to stay.

Id spend my life making it up to you.
Having you throw it in my face with salty backhanded joyless humour.
That cheeky bitten tongue on those beautiful crooked teeth are what make my life complete.

You are what sexy is to me.
You are love in human form.
You know you deserve so much more than how I behaved when we broke up.

You know I treat you so good too.
And that I always will do.
It's not lost on me, who I have lost. I hope I find you soon.

Cara mia, sexy angel. My darling celtic queen.
Some things in life are just as they seem.
The possibility of me and you again is worth so much more than the reality of anybody else.
Always Yours. Forever Sorry.

Tiny Tears.
