Roses

One of my all time favorite flowers. I love the scent of them, I love the look of them and I love drawing them. I remember in my Grandad's garden that he had all these roses growing along the edge. One in particular had so many thorns on the stems there was no way you could touch it but the yellow roses on it were glorious. There is a poem... The blue rose rare, one cannot gain If glove or guard be worn Tis only when one risk the pain Of flesh against the thorn.
