These 8mm smooth rondelles are made of Quartz and dyed to get these deliciously vibrant colors. These beads have an ultrasonically drilled 1mm hole, so they're easy to string, even on stretch bracelets, memory wire, leather and heavier cording. Details: Stone: Natural Quartz / Quartzite (See Gem Geek Notes for More) Strand Length: Approximately 15" Shape: Rondelle Features: Smooth / Plain Treatment: Dyed Bead Snob Notes: Cord Sizing: Plan to use a minimum of a Size 6 - although I think a 7 or 8 will be best. Beading Wire: My vote would be for a "medium" Soft Flex or Soft Touch. Gauged Wire: I'd vote for a 22 gauge, but a 20 or even an 18 could work. Gem Geek Notes: I'm of the belief that these are a Quartz variety, but the accuracy of that label will depend on just how Gem Geek-y you want to get. I'm in the process of getting some gemologist feedback on classification. Your beads/findings will come packaged neatly in a sealed plastic bag.
