Blue Needle Ring

Beautiful blue needle double point ring set in gold-plated adjustable S925 ring. A type of clear quartz with blue needle-like inclusions caused by trapped gasses during the formation of the stone. There are different reasons why the lines within the quartz give off a "blue hue" but the Tyndall Effect is known for scattering light particles in a colloid or in a very fine suspension. The color is blue light wavelength that is scattered much more strongly than red. A calming stone which protects from negativity. Also known as angel feathers. Set in S925 adjustable ring band. All items in my shop are 100% from nature. They have not been heat-treated or aura colored. They have been mined, polished and set in to minimalistic jewelry settings.
