Freehand 'Path to serenity' nail art
It's been a while since I did a fine art recreation like this! The original painting is by a Russian artist called Elena Samarskaya. It's actually called 'Picture Morning' but I'm calling mine 'Path to serenity' because it suits it so well, and it feels nice in my mouth :-p I actually managed to record a video tutorial for this!
Nail art inspired by a Bob Ross painting
Heya! I did another one of my art recreations, it's inspired by Bob Ross. I really hope I did the painting justice! This is freehand with acrylic paint, using one single detail brush.
Peggy's Cove, nail art inspired by Raymond Edmonds
I found this amazing work of art by Raymond Edmonds and it inspired me to recreate it on my nails! I love his style of painting, it's so realistic and it just draws me in. All of this was freehand with acrylic paint :)
Wide open landscape nail art, miniature painting
I LOVE painting landscapes, I really do! This was a relaxing one to paint, it took me about 2,5 hours (which is not even a third of what my landscapes usually take) and it's all freehand with acrylic paint. I *tried* to make a video tutorial of this as well, I hope everything is visible in the video.
The little photographer nail art
This was a challenge to make, to mimic the style of a pencil drawing, using only acrylic paints. It was too just cute to pass up and not recreate it! I hope you like :D
Freehand mountain landscape nail art
Freehand mountains & sea give me the holiday vibes, because my country doesn't have any mountains. Since the sky is yellow, one of my male friends had to be funny and tell me that someone peed on the clouds... Thanks XD There's a video tutorial for you die-hards as well :)
Balancing mice nail art
The picture I recreated is an illustration from a children's book my Ingrid and Dieter Schubert, called 'Mijn Held' (my hero). I tried my best to copy it exactly but it might have turned out a little bit more colorful :-p What can I say? It's my own personal touch. Come read my personal story behind it!
Little cabin in the clearing, freehand nail art
This is all freehand with acrylic paint, but I might have gone a little overboard with this design... I didn't plan on spending 7 hours on it!! I was having so much fun just painting and putting a lot of detail into it! I wish I knew who the original image belongs to, it's really dreamy.
Danbo nail art, the cutest little robot
Look at this little guy, isn't he the cutest? It's Danbo, the friendly cardboard robot! The photo that I used as an example belongs to Miss Tori, she takes the most beautiful, touching pictures of her Danbo miniature.
Rose alley nail art
Sooo my crazy friend Karen had a cool idea, and it led to me painting another bit of super detailed freehand nail art, a cobblestone alley with roses and plants and a terrace and stuff. Who's ready for summer?! :D I started out hating this but I ended up really liking it. And ofcourse I went somewhere today and nobody even looked at my nails :-p

Freehand summer terrace nail art
The birds are chirping, the air smells like spring but it's still SO COLD!!! Makes me long for hot summer evenings when I can still feel the heat of the sun lingering on the bricks of my house. This nail art design takes me back to that <3
Freehand coast side landscape nail art
I had this little landscape nail art gem in the 'vault', so enjoy!
