Altered Books

Altered books have to be one of my most favourite creative outlets. They can be one piece or an ongoing thing like an art journal. They can be painted in, cut or carved out, stuck in, you can make poems out of them. You can do multiple pages at once or keep coming back to them. They can be as simple or as intricate as you like. If you want to create but are not sure what to do, then an altered book is the best way to go. Start circling some words & use them as a prompt for your artwork.
