Using typography is a good way to get creative with your designs and advertisement. If executed well, ads can make a business grow exponentially, and a huge part of advertising is of course typography. More on the blog.

Check out Juno, a bold condensed hand-painted font for striking headlines. ReveryWorks has recently crafted the perfect typeface for your headlines, JUNO.

This advertisement stuck out to me because instead of an image, an illustration is created using text. I thought this was unique because it gets across the idea of a coffee cup, but within the coffee cup there are words describing Starbucks and their products. I like the complementary color scheme because they set a warm tone and feel to the advertisement. There is also visual hierarchy within the coffee cup text because the more important words are larger within the cup.

Creative Advertising Campaign

Mico Toledo combines famous musical quotes, typography and graphic design to create these fun and colorful posters. They are so simple, but would add well to any wall collection. In our new home I want have a wall that combines framed photos old and new along with posters and artwork that we have collected over the years. My favorite is the one on the bottom right... I can't find the tune of the song in my head (perhaps that is because it is by Radiohead :) ), but the quote is presh.
