♥️ Fill a jar with water
🧡 Add a squirt of dish soap (1 tsp)
💛 And a bit of vinegar (1 tsp)
💚 Close the lid
💙 Now hold the jar from the top and spin it in a circular motion
💜 Set it down and watch a tornado form! 🌪️

How does this work? 🤯

♥️ When you spin the jar, you actually put a force on the water that pushes it outwards against the glass
🧡 When you set it down, friction slows the water touching the edge of the glass
💛 The water is the pulled into a funnel by centripetal force (this pulls the water to the center of the jar)
💚 The water speeds up and creates a vortex

💌 Save and share with a friend for inspiration
