When you set up 2 bins of water and give your preschooler some sponges (we have clean sponges just for sensory play), they have the opportunity to experiment with sponges and transferring water. Extra idea is to add silicone cupcake liners and they can see how/if they can sink the liners using water…

Soap foam is such a fun and easy sensory play recipe to mix up. It can be whizzed up in minutes using only 2 ingredients, water and washing up liquid (dish soap), and it feels so soft and fun to play with. Soap foam can be made in any colour of the rainbow by adding a little food colouring. Playing with soap foam is such a fun sensory play experience for toddlers and preschoolers (and big kids too!) that is suitable for both outdoor or indoor sensory play.
