- Chop up one onion (I recommend red for how strong it is) 
- Optional: Add a clove or two of garlic 
- Place in a jar with water & cover with paper towel & hairtie/elastic band 
- Let sit in jar for 1-2 days 
- Strain onion pieces out 
- Transfer onion water into spray bottle 
- Spray on plants as needed 

Yep, it’s that easy! Onion is a natural repellant for pests as the smell is too much for them. You can also add cayenne pepper powder around the base of the plant for an extra precaution. Happy Gardening!
