Cosplay in America - I came up with the idea of Pirahna Plant when my fiance and I wanted to do a Super Smash Bros Ultimate group with our friends for Otakon! We wanted to do odd characters so he chose Olimar, and I chose Piranha Plant. I liked the idea of challenging myself on how to make myself into this iconic plant haha I used EVA foam to make the head, leaves, and pipe, and worked on it off and on for about 3 months. The green outfit I wore was just constructed by items I found on Amazon, but I'm really proud of how simple but effective my costume became. I started cosplaying 9 years ago, and I can't imagine my life without it.
