⭐Phoenix Bird Mask⭐

Description A mask of a phoenix that I made for The Gnostic Eden dance production in Hong Kong [link] This is one of seven masks which are supposed to depict the seven archons related to the gnostic creation myth. The original myth describes this archon as having a face of bright flames; the director of the production instead wanted to have a phoenix. The mask is made of 8oz leather, hand carved and shaped and then painted with soft-bodied acrylics.
