With a little bit of creativity and some music-themed ornaments, you can transform your tree into a festive celebration of all things musical.

Today I spent a little time crafting for myself.......... The letters spell out MERRY CHRISTMAS .........made from glitter chipboard shapes I found at Michaels 1/2 price, $2.50 for 20. It so happened I had the same shaped paper puncher, so I stamped some linen card stock with Christmas music, and punched out the squares. I then stamped the letters onto the music paper and glued them to the glitter shapes..........Next I punched a hole and threaded a champagne colored seam binding…

I'm so excited to share the Christmas tree I did for Michales this year. I wanted to do something totally different from the tree I did for them last year (you can see it here), so after browsing through all the fabulous Christmas decor and crafts at Michaels I decided on the theme "Little Drummer Boy" for this years Christmas tree. Nancy and I had craft night at Loot last month and started making some ornaments for a little silver tree at the shop. We made these star ornaments with a package of various sized, wooden stars from the craft store. We stamped them with a fancy script stamp and added glitter to all the edges.
