Hannah Briggs on Instagram: "HOW WE BUILT IN ALCOVE UNITS ✨💞 What do you think?! 👇🏻 Obsessed with how these turned out one year on! 🤭 We still want to add LED lighting on the shelves to make it more into a media wall but in pretty pleased with it! We basically bought two IKEA sideboards from the IDANAS range, along with some MDF board and furniture board that we had cut down at B&Q for an easier fit! We then sanded, primed and painted 🎨 before nail gunning in. Little hack 💡 take a piece of the sideboard with you such as the cupboard door, and get B&Q to paint match it for you. Trust me, it’s worth doing!! But I didn’t let that stop me getting my dream media wall (made by my very own dad, I might add 🥰) At its deepest point (the cupboards) the media wall is 30cm deep, leaving us with less than 2.5m of “living” space, and that space includes the sofa.
