Magic candle art

Flame dragons: ephemeral creatures that live inside the flames of candles. Seeing one is usually considered a sign of good fortune, or of the fact that you shouldn't have smoked the herbs you stole from that magician.

Based on the stylized candle prop from 'Forest Motel' Illustration by Anna Terskova All 3D related work made by me. I really liked the fantasy, whimsy look of this candle and wanted to challenge myself in recreating it in 3D as well as to see if I could polypaint it to look as close to the illustration as possible. Zbrush Sculpted model. Used only Polypaint, no colored lighting was used.
