Denisa Halasova on Instagram: "Here are some tips & tricks ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ✔️ The more textured leaf the better ✔️ Before you put the leafs on the fabric make sure it has no dirt on it ✔️ Don’t put too much paint on it so the texture shows nice ✔️ The paint should not be too liquidy - it shows nice if the paint is a bit thick ✔️ Use only natural fabrics like cotton or linen, otherwise the paint might wash off ✔️ Never put the iron directly on the painted area - use cloth/towel/baking paper… If the fabric is thick enough you can just turn it inside out This was such a spontaneous idea 🤩 I was just walking through the park and when I looked at the leafs I really wanted them to be printed on fabric 🌿 So I came home and tried it and I loooove it 🧡 What do you think about it?? Our first one of the year was a blast @pepperwoodpreserveca We covered ecoprinting basics and each piece came out unique and beautiful. This group got into the Tataki Zome, pounding dye. Great pounded prints achieved from locally gathered leaves and flowers. The grasses were a lovely surprise.
