These are 2 fundamental drills that I use for dancers who want to improve or create consistency with their turns in second!

Both of these drills also help dancers who struggle with hopping or a leg that changes heights during the a la seconds.

👉🏼3/4 turn to extension - excellent for spotting, pelvic placement and stability, and to practice the basics of the turn.

👉🏼Plié & relevé with the working leg also helps dancers stabilize the pelvis,  improve ankle strength, and practice the basics of the turn.
