Andrea on Instagram: "#igquiltfest2024day3 - I love my DIY sewing desk for my @janomeamerica It was a friend’s dining table she was getting rid of and I asked if I could buy it. She said have it for free! We traced the sewing machine on top and then used a jigsaw to cut it out. My FIL helped with this DIY (I had already made a smaller drop in desk for my first machine). After sanding the table, I stained and sealed the top. I also painted the bottom white. We drilled a hole for my knee lifter and notched the side for the power cord and power switch. The table is 42”x60” and is large enough to support a quilt for my domestic quilting. We hadn’t set it up here in NC but that is happening this week😍😍😍. Stay tuned to find out where😏😏😏."
