Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Washington, D.C. whose mission is to inspire a new generation of civil servants and transform the way government works. Founded in 2001, the partnership teams up with federal agencies and other stakeholders to help make government more effective and efficient.
The organization pursues this goal by providing assistance to federal agencies to improve their management and operations, and to strengthen their leadership capacity. They also conduct outreach to college campuses and job seekers to promote public service, advocate for needed legislative and regulatory reforms to strengthen the civil service, generate research on workforce challenges facing our federal government, and enhance public understanding of the valuable work civil servants perform.
