Saturday marks four years with Paradigm! Celebrating a work anniversary is a momentous occasion that goes beyond the simple marking of time. It's an acknowledgement of dedication, commitment, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As an employee reaches the next milestone in their career with an organization, the atmosphere in the workplace is often filled with warmth and appreciation. My Paradigm colleagues come together to recognize the individual's contributions and express gratitude for the impact they've had on the team and the company. And for that I am always grateful. It makes me feel I am part of the Team and that my contributions are appreciated. Every work anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of the bond between an employee and their employer. They mark not only the passage of time but also the growth, learning, and achievements that have occurred during that time. It's a time I take to reflect on the challenges overcome, the successes achieved, and the goals that still lie ahead. Work anniversaries offer a chance to boost employee morale, foster a sense of belonging, and strengthen the sense of community within the organization. Personally, and professionally, I always remain grateful and never assume anything. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Paradigm leadership and my colleagues for generously offering me abundant opportunities for personal and career growth & success throughout the past four years. Cheers to many more! #paradigmsample #celebratesuccess #workanniversary #gratitude #projectsuccess #letsgo

Today is my 10th work anniversary at Grundfos, and I’d like to celebrate it sharing here how my recruitment process took place, in order to thank the people who participated in the process and finally chose me, and hopefully, to inspire others with this story; it certainly inspired myself! When I applied for the job published by Grundfos, I was not aware about a personal situation that in my view at that time, it was going to jeopardize my chances of getting the job. In the mid of the recruitment process, I realized that I was pregnant, and I communicated it to Grundfos and to recruitment agency in charge of the process. It was a big surprise that they didn’t change their minds in including me in the candidates list and even a bigger surprise when I was told that I was chosen for the job position. Their decision had a big effect on me. I am not sure I would have easily taken the same decision, and not because I don’t believe that women should have equal opportunities; I am a defender of creating diversity equity and inclusion in the workplace. However, I was assuming that, as I was going to be 16 weeks for the maternity leave (that is for Spain), and vacant position was in urgency to be filled, that was a clearly no go from my application. However, they taught me a big lesson, and decided to look for the long term instead of the short, to take into account my experience and background and not considering my personal situation, and they didn’t follow any bias that my personal situation could have misled. Instead, that confidence that they placed in me, it gave me full trust in Grundfos and, moreover, a great respect for the people who took that decision. At the end, society and companies are made of people, and we all, with our actions and decisions, we are creating that professional and social environment we are living in. They also gave me self-confidence to try to inspire others with similar actions! I hope this story inspires more people too! Therefore, special thanks to these people who gave me a great lesson 10 years ago: Mari Cruz Mateos Sevillano, Nestor Bernad Folia , José Ramón Vilana Arto , Julián Trascasa Caño and Lola Servert . #proudtobegrundfos #diversityequityandinclusion

May marked my 9-year anniversary at Pluralsight. You may know that, during this time, I took a leap in my career by moving from business strategy to People. A pivot into HR wasn't a move I saw myself making, but after almost a decade with the company and 6 years in people management, I've learned a few things: 👉 Embrace the unknown; stepping out of your comfort zone fosters growth. 👉 Being able to adapt is an underrated skill and will always set you up for success. 👉 Cultivating an ownership attitude empowers you to add value in any circumstance. I look forward to many more learnings and would love to know: what's a risk you've taken that's paid off? ⤵

Celebrating My One-Year Corporate Anniversary 🌟 Today, July 11th, 2024 marks an important milestone in my professional journey - my one-year anniversary in the corporate world. Reflecting on this past year, the biggest lesson I've learned is the importance of separating my personality from my work persona. As an introvert during my school and college days, I often struggled to actively participate and voice my thoughts. This wasn't a major issue back then. However, when I entered the professional world, I found it very challenging to work in a team. I've come to realize that in the professional realm, certain traits are expected of you, regardless of your natural inclinations. Embracing this understanding has been pivotal in helping me adapt, communicate more effectively, and become a true team player. I now recognize that business is a team sport, not a solo sport. Cultivating the ability to work well with others, contribute meaningfully to group efforts, and deliver on the demands of the role have been key. #OneYearAnniversary #CorporateJourney #PersonalGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #LifeLessons #Teamwork

. A Rolex for a 15-year anniversary is a generous and memorable gesture, but not the norm for every company. Team-organized cakes and mementos can be heartfelt, though they might not feel as substantial as other options. I've seen some impressive gifts like customized experiences, luxury items, or significant bonuses. Significant anniversaries can deserve more than just tokens; something memorable can show appreciation effectively. It's important for companies to recognize long service in a meaningful way, balancing recognition with practicality. In recruitment, while money can be a major factor, genuine appreciation and acknowledgment of effort also matter.
My old company gave me a Rolex for my 15th work anniversary. Yeh right 😂 😂 😂 My team organised a cake and a nice memento, which they chipped in and paid for. I once saw someone who had done 30 years holding up a paper sign that said Happy 30th anniversary. I saw a coffee cup last week for another. Overall, it's pretty average, and I would expect your company to do more. So, what is the best gift you have seen someone receive, and do you think it should be a big deal with something epic gifted for significant anniversaries? And yes, I still think money talks and bullshit walks in recruitment.... Dean James Rec2Rec #makeyourmove #rec2rec #recruitment #anniversary #recruiting
