A short personal travel planning (PTP) project delivered in partnership with SANDAG to pilot a UK door-to-door approach to Individualized Marketing. 400 households were contacted of which 30% participated in the program. A follow up survey showed that for trips conducted once a week or more, the following changes in weekly mode share were determined:
• A 10 percentage point reduction in lone car driver mode share;
• A 5 percentage point increase in bike mode share; and

Solar Turbines President's Award Competition
Social media has created an innovative way to interact with target stakeholders. Our team increased awareness of who Solar Turbines is and changed the way we communicate by using this two-way outlet as a new path to VOC. Our success has led to soft business leads that can increase lead generation efforts.
The goal of the "Social Turbines" project was to create a diversely thinking team and to implement a strategy for posts and pulling metrics. Our team grew a follower base and developed a pipeline of high quality content, which resulted in strong engagement. Through posts with multiple languages and highlighting different regions and teams, we demonstrate how we value diversity and inclusion.
This project modernized and humanized Solar Turbines. We are now showing our global footprint, and setting an example of safety, sustainability, customer service and being the best team. -
