Make sure the email associated with the account is the email address of an individual and not a distribution list nor a role-based email address.
- A role account/alias is an account that isn't associated with a particular person, but with an office, position, or task (ex: webmaster@, postmaster@, admin@, etc.). To ensure you're getting the most of LinkedIn, we recommend using a personal email address.

Note: Your changes will be saved automatically.
Note: If your email settings are set to LinkedIn recommended, you may receive related messages grouped together so you get fewer emails. Also, in some instances, if you've already interacted with a feature or notification on LinkedIn.com or on your app, you won't receive an email for it. Adjust your email settings if you would like to change your email frequency.
