Follow or Unfollow Member Articles

Last updated: 3 years ago
When a LinkedIn member becomes one of your connections (a 1st-degree connection), you automatically start following them and their activity.
Following a member lets you see their public posts, including articles they publish and other shared content such as videos and pictures, even if they're not a connection. Their activity will appear on your LinkedIn homepage.
Note: Not all posts that you see on your LinkedIn feed are from members that you follow. You will see posts from other members that you are not following if one of your connections comments or shares their post.
To follow a member who's publishing articles:
  1. Click on the article written by the member.
  2. Click Follow next to the member's name.
    • This will change to Following.
If you’re unable to locate the article, you can visit the member’s profile and follow them for future articles.
To unfollow a member’s articles whom you’re not connected with, move your cursor over Following next to the member's name and click Unfollow.
If you're connected to a person and choose to unfollow them, you'll remain connected but won't see their updates in your feed. They won't be notified you've unfollowed them.
