The Gittis Legal Clinics are Penn Carey Law’s teaching law firm, comprised of eight in-house clinics that offer students unique opportunities to develop essential lawyering skills and professional values. Our mission is to educate students on the skills and intricacies of being a lawyer while serving the legal needs of clients and underserved communities.

The goal of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s Externship Program is to supplement traditional classroom study and experiential study by providing external opportunities for students to observe and participate meaningfully in lawyering at government agencies, non-profit organizations, and with judges.
