"Families have been shopping with La Redoute for over 180 years and our role is to continue to improve the lives of future generations. This is why we work on a daily basis to build a more responsible and sustainable business. It is today and together that we will build a better future."

Our ambition, the desire to always do better
100%
products with at least 1 responsible criterion
More about our commitment
By 2025, 100% of La Redoute Collections, La Redoute Intérieurs and AMPM* products will have at least 1 responsible criterion: they will either be Go For Good certified or made in Europe. Today, this is the case for all of La Redoute Collections Men. By 2022, 100% of the women's wardrobe will have 1 or more responsible criteria. *Excluding metal, glass, ceramics
0 single-use
plastics
More about our commitment
How can we reduce single-use plastic? By favouring recycling and new packaging. Today, 100% of La Redoute Collections, La Redoute Intérieurs and AMPM polybags are made of recycled plastic. For shipping bags, we are testing alternatives, such as FSC® certified paper, made from wood from sustainably managed forests.
2030
Moving towards carbon neutrality
More about our commitment
La Redoute has begun the transition to carbon neutrality through a multitude of actions: favouring transport by boat, reducing the use of single-use plastic, or recycling 100% of the industrial waste from our collections and offices. By taking action at every stage, we will achieve our goal.
2025
All brands committed to us
More about our commitment
The future is everyone's business. That's why La Redoute works with the partner brands you find on our site to ensure that they too are committed to sustainability. And this, both on an environmental and social level. Audits, monitoring, advice... our global approach includes all the brands you love.
A continuous improvement approach
More about our commitment
La Redoute has joined the continuous improvement approach created by Galeries Lafayette. Go for Good products are selected on the basis of specific criteria: they must have a lower impact on the environment, support local production or contribute to social development.
Always more responsible
Produce less, but better
Manufacturing only the pieces ordered means less resources and less waste. This is already the case for a large part of our collections.
100% responsible cotton in 2022
What is responsible cotton? Organic or recycled cotton, which consumes less water and without pesticides, or with the BCI label.
100% responsible wood by 2025
In 2022, we will achieve 30% responsible wood. This certified and traceable wood comes from sustainably managed forests.
More natural materials
For household linen, we prefer flax and hemp, grown without irrigation and with very few phytosanitary products.
More and more OEKO-TEX® certified fabric
Because everyone's health is our priority, a very large part of our fashion collection and 100% of our bed linen are labelled Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, guaranteeing materials that are harmless and non-irritating to the skin.
Zero fur, no angora
All our producers practice non-intensive farming that respects animal welfare and biodiversity.
100% compliance for 90% of audited factories
Good working conditions, with us and our partners.
Less plastic
We are constantly testing new alternatives.

What does carbon neutrality in 2030 mean?
This means sustainably reducing our carbon emissions to achieve neutrality. To achieve that, we set ourselves goals.
100% of our industrial waste already recycled
In our collections and in our offices, all our waste is recycled by eco-organisations: Eco TCL, Eco Mobilier and Citéo.
Always less CO2 emissions
We prefer transport by train and boat to reduce emissions. La Redoute is also a partner of La Poste, which is carbon neutral.
Zero waste
No unsold clothing is destroyed: the SolidarCité association redistributes them locally or uses them for professional reintegration.
Act together...
are you up for it?
