On 24 September, Kyoto University held its Autumn 2024 Degree Conferment Ceremony at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall with President Nagahiro Minato, the executive vice-president for education, student affairs, and admissions, and relevant deans and directors in attendance.
The degrees conferred were 110 master's degrees, four professional master's degrees, and 196 doctoral degrees, the last of which were issued 23 May, 23 July, and 24 September 2024, 173 for coursework and 23 for dissertations.
The doctorate recipients included five graduates of Leading Graduate School Programs and three graduate of a WISE Program.
The ceremony featured an address by President Minato, delivered after presenting a diploma to each student representative.
