All About Deadpool 3
Deadpool and Wolverine team for a threequel. Hugh Jackman retired from the role after 'Logan' (2017), but pal Ryan Reynolds convinced him to return. This will be Deadpool's first film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Disney purchased Fox in 2019, but he'll likely feel right at home breaking the fourth wall with She-Hulk.
The X-Men and mutants could also enter the MCU at this point unless one of Marvel's Phase 5 films beats Deadpool to the punch.
Jackman says that this new vision for Wolverine hasn't been see in the X-Men movie or their spin-offs. "He's definitely the angrier, acerbic, grumpy [Wolverine], and he's gonna take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds. Physically, that is."
Shawn Levy ('Free Guy,' "Stranger Things") takes the helm with a script from 'Deadpool 2' and 'Zombieland' writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Reynolds confirmed that the events of 'Logan' won't play into 'Deadpool 3' but hasn't shared more details.
