This is a great movie because it tells the simple story but through complex situations and with complex characters.
The action is good, the plot moves along well but takes time to show the characters faults and strengths.
The dialogue given to De Niro and Pacino is something they delight in, they immerse themselves into the story and enjoy it.
The main heist contains one of the top gun fights in the history of film, it flows but is shocking in its brutality, with great sound. The cast are perfectly picked for each role and like the two main characters seem to really enjoy themselves, they make playing goodies & baddies fun, and at many times you want the baddies to win.

I'd say they put so much into the props, effects and stunt work they forgot to put a movie together.
Simply amazing car and driving stunt work, at times you are transfixed to the action, it is riveting. But at times it's all a bit too much and the story gets a bit silly.
The final scenes are confusing and jumpy which leaves the viewer dissatisfied with the investment of time. George Miller just loves this genre and has a true artistic bent which he lets loose on the film, it is a great moving piece of artwork, but it doesn't make a good movie, it's missing the connectors in dialogue and script, in fact Miller avoids them, Anna Taylor Joy is always an eye magnet on screen, we needed more of her.

Nice to see some well acted science fiction, at times a bit silly but if you abandon logic, it's okay.
Too much in the dark and at times slow, then fast, then slow, then fast., so you have to The two leads enjoy themselves and are able to get out of every situation no Matthew wild or monstrous.
A fun Saturday afternoon, not to be taken too seriously but a step up from a lot of rubbish on streaming services these days, in particular Anna Taylor Joy is a delight on screen, light and unique she adds to most things she takes on, Miles Teller plays a solid special ops type but her big eyes and use of the Eastern European accent is great for this genre.
So if you need something 'fun'' to fill an afternoon or evening, this one's okay.
