Why do the germans sound like .......
It is amazing, but in most tv shows, when the english / americans speak german they sound like a ......
If a german would speak english like that, I guess that about 90 % of all english speakers would not understand a word they are saying .....
I as a native german need the subtitels to get what they are talking about.
Feng shen bang: Jue zhan wan xian zhen (2021)
Nothing special, but OK to watch
If you do not look to lose at the special effects, they are ok. The story is quite flat, but filled with a lot of action scenes. I would say it was not a total waste of time, but having it seen once is absolutely enough.
The Stairs (2021)
Not very ... no not even ...
You can watch it once, if there is nothing else to watch, but do not expect a lot. Acting is ok, but the whole plot and the way it is presented is bad. The story could have been really entertaining if it was done in a proper manner, but like this, i have seen way better B movies.... Sorry.
La Jaula (2017)
ouch ....
I was not expecting a lot of this movie, and what I got was even less. The 82 minutes could have been reduced easily to about 30 minutes and even then it would not meet the expectation of an entertaining time. A kinda love story with some alien on the sky. The special effects where the best about this movie, but other than that, I'm very sorry to say that there was nothing else positive in a way for me worth of mentioning it.
Warrior Nun (2020)
Hmmm .... I was expecting something else ...
The first 2 episodes could have ben dealed with in a couple of minutes cutting the waste out. The 3rd one .... wow the whole thing gets started ... amazing, followed by another about 5 episodes, that could have easily been fit into another single one.
That said, I was expecting some more light and dark, figting fantasy action, what so ever, but for sure not some drama with most of the time just talkling.
If it will continue like this, I do not need to have another season of Warrior Nun.
Jaws of Satan (1981)
I like this flick ... descent horror movie.
True, if you expect great effects and magnificent acting you should keep searching. If you are looking for some nice entertainment, this is definitely worth watching. I think the voting is quite to low considering that other movies worse than this one got away way better. I would recommend to watch it and decide on your own. Enjoy.
