Can we be Innocent Again? I think that is the question asked in The After Hours. And honestly, I don't know the answer. What an Amazing and emotional Episode. After all these characters have been through, this was a particularly low blow. After the last 2 weeks, it was nice to have the main cast back. But things aren't as life and Lumon are dragging our characters down. I won't spoil anything, but this was some amazing TV with some great performances. Honestly, it was like watching a movie between the amazing visuals and the amazing character development. Zach Cherry kills it as Dylan G. His performance was so good. Also, Tramell Tillman Needs all the awards for Mr. Milchick. It was also interesting to see Miss Huang get some character development. Adam Scott's sarcasm kills me. John Turturro and Christopher Walken are a match made in heaven, and the tension between them is so good. Brit Lower is so good as Helly R and Helena! I feel so bad for Helly and can't wait to see what happens next. I can't believe there is only one episode left this season. This entire season has been perfect, and I can't wait until next week. If only I could be severed to speed up the time. ;)
After all season wondering where Harmony Cobel was going, we finally got our answer. I enjoyed seeing the outside of Kier as this is the first time we have seen the larger world of Severance. It was also interesting that there were only old people in this episode. There were a lot of good subtle moments, and what could've been a dull episode was engaging because the acting was so good and the environment was so creepy. Props to Patricia Arquette for taking Harmony, who has been the villain up to this point, and adding some complexity to her. I don't know if she is sympathetic yet per se, but you understand more about her past and why she is the way she is. You never really know what she is thinking or what she is trying to accomplish, but now we know a little more about how she ended up at Lumon. Also, you really get the feeling that Lumon has destroyed this town somehow, and you have to wonder what the company is really up to. It was a little slower episode that left a lot to interpretation and a lot of questions un resolved. But I feel like the ending revelation made up for it. This episode is probably more like a 9, but as it is part of a larger whole, I'll give it a 10 and try to patiently wait until next week.
