This anime tries to fall behind other anime shows/movies like Princess Mononoke and Howls moving castle. Basically Japanese attempts at Disney style animation. Right out the gate you can figure out what this anime is going for with its slow cinematic string arrangements. It was to be theatrically dramatical.

This series unfortunately is rather boring and depressing to watch because it focuses on this slow paced animation style where every single animated detail is exaggerated. It's hard to not lose your attention when the characters are also extremely boring and they all talk extremely slow and drowsy like they took a PM cold drug.

The main character is extremely depressing to the point that she is annoying. The entire series is her basically being Snuffleupagus. She is unbelievably irritating after a while as she is a constant screw up and apologizes for everything. Someone give her some self esteem already sheesh!

There's also so much going on in this anime that makes little sense that you feel like you've gotten a contact high from it. I wanted to like and praise this anime but it's just very slow paced and boring. I had to fight myself from falling asleep as I watched it. I'm sure there are plenty that will say this is the best anime ever and I'm happy to tell you that I am certainly not one of them. This is probably the most boring anime ever with way too many episodes that feels like they're 2hrs long each.

If you're going to write and create an animie/story this bizarre and random and you expect people to watch episode after episode of it. It's better to start with explaining just what in the heck people are even watching first. You'll someone time asking yourself "what the heck is going on" than you will understand the show.

Overall this is a bad anime with high quality animation and a soundtrack fit for a Hollywood movie. It all falls apart though because the anime itself is as exciting as flat soda.

The joke of calling someone 30 old and the main character bantering about his age like he's 60years old gets tiring. I don't even think someone 40 would cut it for the degree of ageism that is depicted as the running joke in this anime. Maybe if the main character was 50,60 or even 70 it would make more sense but I have to remember these shows are made for 12-14yo's that think someone 18 is old to them.

That's really all this anime is about. A guy being super strong and being called old every 5 minutes because he's 30. There is no real plot or even a villain and the series is highly and I do mean highly forgettable. By the time I looked up the show was 4 episodes from being over and I couldn't believe it because I felt like I was still watching the first episode.

I've never seen an anime that had no real story to follow. It's like the show is forever introducing the characters and you're waiting for the story to begin and next thing you know it's over.

This is probably a show best savored for children ages 10-14. It's incredibly underwhelming.

The series has a nice concept to start off with then it becomes about a man that's 29 who builds a harem of underaged girls with lots of sexual innuendo slipper in between. You'd think it skews some strange side joke if not every girl the main character meets is like 11yo half naked, completely naked or cladly dressed and falling in love with him.

I don't know how stuff like this gets a pass or what Japanese culture is really about but there's way to much fetishization about young underaged girls. I'm not even sure why anyone would bother to dream something like this up and even for the ages this anime is rated for at 14 to intended viewer would still be too old for the age of the girls featured in this anime.
