After reading the 10/10 reviews I am left wondering if those who left the reviews watched the same movie or were friends and family since it wasn't my experience. I was really looking forward to this series and even though it started out slow, it kept my attention early on thinking... this is surely going to get better. Unfortunately, it slowed mostly towards the last few episodes and left me feeling depressed and bored wanting to skip sections. I found the acting wasn't the problem, it was the delivery of the story line and the lack of realism in the characters interactions. There is sections of just them getting on with work and life which was didn't really develop the relationships of the characters and it was very boring. Gyeom didn't speak about his family problems with Moobi as normal people would to promote understanding. Sijun walked all over Jooah to get what she wanted and he just acted like a depressed puppy and unrealistically he let her. Unfortunately I can't get my time back but I can without a doubt say that I regret not turning it off sooner. It just didn't improve. Maybe I'm just not into depressing, sad, slow shows but that's the only way I can describe it, all the way through. There is no feel good, no realistic character development and it's a shame since the story line could've been so much more. I would rather watch paint dry than watch this series again.
It was a good start to the season of Call it love, good story line and easy to follow. Didn't drag, actors gave a great performance but... I felt depressed watching it and wondered why. Basically both the main actors are depressed all the time. I'm not sure why others said it was a feel good, happiness is feel good. I thought perhaps it may improve as the story line was great so kept watching in the hope the story line would take a turn. By episode 8 I started to skip bits just to see the ending and a few parts I wanted to. Sorry, just being honest but the whole thing just leaves you feeling depressed, the story had no hope, just something positive to look forward to. You feel depressed for the actors lives not improving, depressed because of all the unhappiness. It left me a little disappointed actually. I rated it 6, lower than others. Would have been nice to just see some happy bright times and I would have watched all of it then.
A great series that focuses on the life of an attorney with severe autism. Each episode has it's a challenging case and this attorney's unique abilities that are an asset to she firm she works with. While this series focuses on a more severe form of autism, the story lines for each episode make me smile, cry, and take a more positive view of those with special needs including their strengths. It also shows the prejudice within society for anything not perceived as the norm and how she navigates these challenges with the aid of a co-worker that has taken a special interest in helping her. I have only watched a few episodes thus far, really look forward to the rest of the series.
