As for the plot, there are no surprises in Time Cut, and the story is pretty generic. The biggest value in the movie is probably the nostalgia, especially if you're a Millennial and were a teenager in 2003.
I always enjoy these time travel movies where a traveler from the future comes back, and, on the one hand is omniscient and comments on things they know are coming to happen; on the other hand, encountering cultural phenomena and technologies that are obsolete where the person comes from. But here, too, there is plenty of room for further exploration.
In addition, there are also things that don't make sense. Isn't SMS and phone technology the same in 2003 as in 2024, and shouldn't a 2024 smartphone not at least pick up a signal from a 2003 cell tower?
Unless you are hungry for some 2003 nostalgia, and are a huge fan of all kinds of time travel movies, regardless of quality, then you will probably be disappointed by this movie.

As an autist, I can relate to the main character in many mays.
Many movies and shows with an autistic main character are poor researched, and the autistic traits are based o presumptions. But this shows autistic character are well written, with many believable traits like sensory sensitivity and she is also often distracted by her own thoughts.
However, some of her autistic traits are exaggerated, and wil not spply on a autistic person in the real world, with a similar degree and level of autism.
I will rate 9 stars. I think the exaggerations drag down a little, only adding some cringe situations.
