Am I Being Unreasonable? (2022)
Yes you are
Am I being unreasonable? Yes. Yes you are. This is the third show I'm watching of this creator and it's like I'm watching the same
Show. A super problematic person, made of bad choices who blames everyone else but herself. What actually makes it worse, is that we're supposed to accept it as a fact. That everyone is wrong and stupid but herself when it is quite the opposite. I don't know to which British devil she sold her soul but I honestly can't understand why bbc is keep giving her new chances. It better than her previous show but still quite bad. And it's not just that they give her a stage but also to her bad characters. What is that one has to take from the leading character? Or any other character that is. The sociopath girlfriend? I just can't. Only watched for the cute men.
The Suspect (2022)
Super mediocre
Supposedly smart people making one stupid decision after another. This show goes from bad to worse l. The police are a bunch of idiots and the lead is plain stupid. Who wrote that? A child? It's a Smart Case but such stupid characters it's annoying. I don't understand, how do actors accept to play in such bad movies. I'm sorry unless you enjoy mediocrity, save yourselves from this. It is not good.

Running Point (2025)
This is bad.
Kate Hudson's new animated series is so bad it's almost unwatchable. You'd expect someone with nearly thirty years in the industry to have developed some taste in projects, but somehow, she keeps making baffling choices. Sure, she's a nepo baby, but even nepo babies usually learn how to act at some point-Hudson, on the other hand, has only managed to deliver three good performances in her entire career.
It's genuinely shocking that this show got the green light, let alone attracted such a cast. No matter where you stand on Hudson's acting abilities, she was once close to A-list status, which should have meant better scripts, better roles, better decisions. Instead, she's starring in something so lazily written and uninspired that it feels more like a tax write-off than an actual creative project.
It reminds me of that movie where Cameron Diaz managed a team-except there, at least, the actors were putting in the effort. Here, it's like everyone involved knows they're in something terrible and just wants to get through it.
10 Lives (2024)
For 5 year olds tops
Even though I am an adult I do enjoy a good animation now and then. This unfortunately is not a good animation. The designs are decent but the story is poor and the people who worked on it obviously haven't spend a day with a cat. It is really truly bad. Super boring. Super silly. Zero character development. It's basically for kids only and when I say kids I mean up to 5 year olds that can enjoy it for the colours. The voices are bad too. The cats voice is super annoying. I'm surprised anyone over five enjoyed it. Save all your ten lives and skip this. Maybe three out of ten is too much for this.
The Outrun (2024)
Don't waste your time
I can't even call this a movie. It's a non-linear account of a nepo baby turned journalist who blames her bipolar father and newly Christian mother for all her troubles-that's the gist of it. The story has been heavily dramatized and flawlessly acted by the entire cast, but the erratic editing makes it drag, and if we're being honest, it's just not an interesting story. Why does every person who has struggled with alcoholism or addiction think their story is compelling or has some grand lesson to impart? Sometimes, you're just problematic-end of story.
The leading actress is phenomenal; she could play Victoria Beckham in a Spice Girls biopic and still deliver an Oscar-worthy performance. But that's not enough to save this film. I gave it a 5 solely for the performances. As for the director-maybe they should stick to music videos.
Patience (2025)
Meh
I recently downgraded my rating to The superior original Astrid and Raphael from 7 to 6 because of the recent ridiculous 5th season. So this rather dull version of it couldn't be rated more than 4. Patience is not a good actor. They're trying too hard to make the character cool which isn't needed. She needs to be understood not liked. The Raphael of this show is completely uninteresting. Two episodes in I still have no idea what she's called. I loved the dynamic in the original because they have the same age and completely different understanding of the world. In this I guess they hope to have a mother figure to patience? Either way in the original she's not trying to stand out she's herself. This version is like she's trying too hard to be the center of attention. It's just bad honestly. The only pro is that it is English and you can do the dishes while it's playing.
Back in Action (2025)
It's a silly movie
It feels like a mr and Mrs smith 2 reject script. There's even the Colombia joke where they met. It's light. Brings Charlie's angels and day and knight in mind. It's not a deep, strong movie. It's like the 2000-2010 good fun action movies. Had it been released back then it would have rocked the charts. Its not gonna change the world, break any boundaries or set a new standard to spy movies. But when everyone is both acting so deep, dark and serious ( then enjoy wicked?!?!) we need good fun popcorn movies!
At the end of the day, I couldn't care less. It CAMERON FREAKING DIAZ and she's back in action! I'm so happy to be seeing her after ten years! I'm just glad we got the girl back.
Wire in the Blood (2002)
Meh
I wanted to watch the show because he's a Daddy in that mediocre mess of a series with priests. Unfortunately, I don't think they knew what they wanted to do with this show. There is no pace and no character development. The directing is a terrible mess that brings in mind early 90s television nothing that says we're part of the new millennium. Some episodes are 8/10 but the majority is meh like 3/10-4/10. What's truly bad thought is that the therapist is not consistent. In one episode he works one way and another. Sometimes he speaks to himself and then he doesn't. I think he is in the spectrum but it's not cleared. Also too gory I guess to impress or to shock. I'm watching season 2 wpisode 3 and it's like he's making fun of the police instead of helping them. Also mumbling his thoughts as if they can hear him. I don't know what the director was thinking. Probably that he was a god. Super annoying and boring episode. I don't know if I'll continue.
The Chelsea Detective (2022)
Dull
The lead is clearly in the wrong show. He is in some 50s police show. His looks and character proves that. He is also not a lead. He is a secondary character at best. The show would ve the same without him and that proves how bad it is when it can do without the lead character. There is zero chemistry with the boring poor man's Indira Varma. The plots are okay and the resolution some times surprising. It's okay to have play on the background while cooking or cleaning when there's nothing else around. It is unbelievable that is still on. After watching and forgetting the first series and kindly not rating it nor reviewing, I saw that it's still on. It's not bad just poor and dull.
The Head (2020)
Poor
Interesting idea but terribly executed. The acting is truly poor. The writing is unfit. It's as if the person that wrote the dialogues didn't speak English and they translated it in Google translate. Half the cast can't act or express emotion and they're delivering is flat. At first I thought that it was dubbed. That's how bad they are.
Now the characters are ridiculous as well. Everyone is supposed to be a smart scientist and they're all act as 17 year olds, acting rebellious and doing the wrong thing. They're specifically told to wait 48 for the police and they go about doing their own investigation as if they've done it bofore or that they know what they're doing. The lead guy is just plain joke both as a character-looking for his wife- and acting wise. Who gave the green light to that and who accepted such poor writing? I wouldn't as an actor let alone as a producer. It's a pity because there's smt there but I'm not gonna find out. I stopped at episode 5.
Afterlife (2005)
Smart but...
I like the premise but good gods Lesley Sharp cant act. She's super flat. I've been unfortunate enough to have seen her in several shows (she's almost in bloody everything coming out of uk) and every single time she's the same character. She's a one time woman. This show could have worked with an actress. It needed better writing and directing and of course acting. I'm on episode two and the woman doesn't know what's she's doing. Is she talking to the dead girl or is she possessed by the dead girl? She makes no sense. It's a pity coz the show deserved better. I liked the idea of a therapist working with a medium it'll be fun to watch how one will influence the other but good gods the woman is unbearable.
Fool Me Once (2024)
Who hired the lead ?
Usually you find your lead and build the show around them. This isn't the case here. The woman hired to act in the leading role is a joke. You'd expect someone appearing in a big budget Netflix show even an English one, to have some acting abilities. That woman is acting in a child's play. She should win a platinum raspberry award for her "performance". There are other things wrong with this mediocre show. Dozens of plot holes and as per usual, people acting stupid but I just watched the show and all I could think of was "seriously now how could anyone have hired that woman to act?" She's literally so bad I presume she's sleeping with the director.
Doctor Odyssey (2024)
How was this approved?
I honestly expected the shop to be some sort of a front for smt and the doctor investigating or the doctor to be hiding for some reason and posing as a doctor. This is a truly poor quality show. It is truly surprising that it got the green light. The characters are so terribly written. The stories are ridiculous and trying so hard to appeal to the younger generations with all the political correctness and the plot lines when it just isn't it. I honestly don't have words at how bad it is it is just sad. It is embarrassing that people read it and wanted to be in it. The dynamics between the characters it's just omg how bad. I'm watching episode six because of the gay plot but I can't explain how this is.
The Bear (2022)
This must be
This must be the most incredibly dull, terribly directed and edited tv show that has some of the strongest performances in tv today.
I am not sure yet if i like it or hate it but it truly is boring. There is zero interest in it. The directing is a mix of non consistent scenes and most of the times just images of the city. Then the characters start yelling at each other no reason needed. They'll find one. They argue for the most stupid things. But I do give them that. The three leads actually ACT. Hopefully someone will recognize that and give them better material in movies or other shows. This one is just meh.
Interior Chinatown (2024)
Poor poor poor
It's so meta it becomes after (that's a Greek joke) super mediocre cast. They feel like everyone with talent died or wanted to be paid and they were left with them that work for free. I mean I have watched spice world and it's better acted and that's says everything. It's a poor production. Poorly written. Poorly acted. Poorly directed. It's that super mediocre Ryan movie but instead of a video game it's a tv show combined with everything everywhere all the time but in the messiest, most terrible way possible. I mean in a parallel universe where these two didn't exist and it has talented people working on it other than just a decent writer with an idea, this might have worked.
Yellowstone (2018)
Don't get it
I'll start by saying I enjoy the cast, particularly Kelly Reilly, who delivers a riveting performance. Cole Hauser is also entertaining, though it feels like he doesn't have to "perform" much to fit his role-there's just something magnetic about him. If he were shirtless, he could deliver all the "cowboy wisdom" he wanted, and I'd still be glued to the screen.
The directing is also solid, adding a cinematic quality to every scene. But here's the thing-I can't quite get on board with the story or the characters. These are genuinely awful people: wealthy, morally flexible landowners whose ethics and standards seem to change with every season. They spend most of their time fighting even more despicable people, all in the name of "keeping the land," though it often feels like it's more about ego than any higher purpose. Murder, torture, and double standards define them, yet they act as if they're the heroes of the story.
What comes across is almost an indictment of how nothing in America works as it should. And, in an odd way, the show seems to subtly justify violence and the casual use of guns, often for reasons that feel thin at best. It's surprising this series has become such a massive hit, and that it hasn't faced more scrutiny for its messaging.
Loups-Garous (2024)
Nice idea
Brilliant idea but terribly flawed movie. First mistake is the cast. I don't know anyone other than Zan Reno but i presume the actor playing his son who looks like his grandfather is famous that is why he was chosen. Why have. 65 year old man and a 55 year old woman have a 5 year old child? This super wrong. I hope the Hollywood remake, will correct these mistakes. The cast is both wrong and boring. They added the mixed race girl to be politically correct and they turned her invisible. It's quite boring and it goes back and forth. The whole gay character too. Jesus everything is wrong when you try to be a people pleaser. I'm glad I watched it on Netflix X1.5...
Sweetpea (2024)
Terrible
This is sad thing of a show. A pathetic little girl who is looking for everyone's attention and feels like the world owns her for some reason, who is uneducated, unsociable and only speaks with her dad and dog, who feels us treated bad and unjust but she's just too kind to speak up, starts killing the people she feels didn't treat her well. I mean the so called "villains" of the show are actually real people. She's the problem.
This show is a great example of why therapy should be free, mandatory and for everyone.
Good production but what the duck is the meaning of the show? Kill the people YOU FEEL hurt you?
Critical Incident (2024)
The characters get stupider by the wpsiode
It started alright but it gets boring as hell. There is some mediocre acting too. Like the brother and his eife. They could work at a supermarket and show more enthusiasm by the dead chicken.
The premise is great but the characters are stupid and get stupider by the episode. I got so bored that I didn't care what would happen to any of them which also means that the audience doesn't invest in them. I can't believe I watched six out of eight. Totally meh show. And yes I'm
Just writing now to reach the amount of characters required to post this review to save your asses from wasting your time watching that. Unless it get on Netflix where you can watch it X1.5, just skip it.
High Potential (2024)
Watch the original
I love the original French series. And I adore Kaitlin Olson but it's a miscast. She's just not it.
Also this copy paste even camera angles at times is just sad. Learn how to read subtitles or learn French. No need to remake everything.
The original show is quite funny and smart. And I have rated it at 7/10. This one... looks like a 4/10 but I'll have to watch few more episodes. I just hope they'll add smt to it not like the first episode which is literally a poor copy.
The rest of the cast is just indifferent. They're so thin and dull no meat in their bones. I can't understand they call themselves actors and writers?
Magpie Murders (2022)
Terrible acting
It is surprising how anyone got cast to that. Other than the leading lady, the gay boy and a couple of characters in the past storyline, none of the leads can give a performance. It looks like a super mediocre theatre performance by amateurs. The author is so bad makes Britney Spears look like an academy award nominee. The Greek guy? The detective good gods he was so bad I had to check twice whether he had a disability or not. The gay son? Truly terrible performances. Other than that cute plot interesting back and forth between book and reality. But silly conclusion. I wish I hadn't wasted my time on this show.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (2024)
Super mediocre
This is for twelve year olds. The acting is super bad. Terrible kids theatre performances. Terrible boring characters. I managed to watch two whole episodes and they felt like a century. Terrible directing too. It goes back and forth. I think the casting doesn't help either. By having watched only these two episodes I can tell that there isn't a single nor interracial family in that village and that the murderer is probably the incredibly poorly acting actor the father of the leads best friend. You can tell by his miserable performance that it's meant to be him. I can't waste another 40 minutes to find out. Super boring. Nice looking guys thought. Should have been a movie not a six hour series.
McDonald & Dodds (2020)
Everything works but...
It's smart. Funny at times. I love the idea of the person whom everyone ignores and doesn't expect to be able to do anything, finds the solutions the "old way". The entire cast is brilliant but... the leading lady can't act. I try to enjoy the show but the woman can't deliver a line. She's unlikable as a character but that aside, she's truly terrible at acting. I don't know who her agent is or whom she slept with to get the leading part but she can't act and you can't expect anyone to continue watching that. I get it she's black and a woman in a white man's world but good gods she so bad. She is destroying the whole show.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024)
True stiry
The movie would be a hit in the 80s. What this movie proves is that there's a reason why they kill horses when they grow old. Eddie hasn't evolved his acting at all in the past 40 years nor his sense of "humour"? It is kinda sad watching actually trying to act cool and funny. The black card he still plays is not working the same way it did back in the 80s. What's funny is that the "Beverly Hills cock" as called by Victoria Beckham, is for realz estranged with his daughter by Mel B. So art imitates life. The woman performing as his daughter can't act. I don't know if she had to sleep with him or not to take the part. I hope it was worth it but she still cant act and will soon be forgotten. This is truly bad. Eddie is lucky Netflix bought that crap and he won't be humiliated by another box office bomb.
Baby Reindeer (2024)
The creator is the problem
In a disturbing twist of events, a deeply troubled individual attempts to justify their role in enabling another disturbed person to become a stalker, all under the guise of being excessively nice. This unsettling narrative unfolds as a seemingly unfunny comedian shamelessly exploits the vulnerabilities of a troubled woman, all in pursuit of fame. Through self-aggrandizement, the individual paints themselves as a martyr of kindness, but the underlying tragedy lies in their manipulation and exploitation of vulnerable individuals for personal gain. This sad tale serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked narcissism and the insidious nature of people-pleasing behaviors.
