First of all I'm neither a historian nor I have a degree on any related subject. I will not discuss what Arthur's real story is. I will rate this movie in two ways. First I will rate this as an individual movie.
The movie gives you enough for you not to get bored till the casting appears in the end. Although I've red some opinions that rates this movie as one of the best war movies in the last years. I think those opinions were made either without watching the movie without watching any other movies. The war scenes are good, especially the one on ice but its not realistic and not close being best war scenes. Cast was chosen wisely. Arthur is charismatic yet firm, Guin is wild and passionate, Lancelot resembles Drizzt form R.A. Salvatore books but Merlin is too held back. I've always tought story of Arthur as a legend with fantastic background. Including Excalibur, Merlin as a wise and powerful man, Lancelot as an incredible warrior and Arthur as a Legendary character who tries to unify the kingdom.
Secondly I can compare this movie, amongst other Arthurian movies, but just as movie-wise not history-wise. This movie is far better than "First Knight", comparable to "Mists Of Avalon" but in my opinion "Excalibur(1981)" is still the best one.
As a result this movie should be watched for once but I don't think it will be a hit or collector's first choice. 6/10

You can counter a familier subject in this movie; A man has to do a mission to inherit a fortune from will. (Bachelor, Brewster's Millions etc.)
Douglas "Dawg" (Leary) is our man. He is selfish, rude and totally not caring about what a woman thinks after he gets his sex. He doesn't mostly remember them afterwards either. When his grandmother dies (which it seems doesn't affect Dawg either), in her will it is written that Douglas can inherit his grandmother's fortune which he wasn't aware of worth a million dollars. This is where Lawyer Anna Lockheart (Hurley) comes in. She's to witness that Dawg gets to hear "I forgive you" from his twelve ex-girlfriends.
I really didn't have a laughter while watching that movie nor I didn't feel any warmness as a romantic picture but I can't say I regretted watching it. Personally I think the ending could be better but well... It's as good as it gets. 7/10

As a fan of Stephen King I always thought that all the movies or series except "IT" weren't really good although the books were great. As I started watching "Storm of The Century" I didn't have any expectations and thought I would give up in 30 mins or so because it lasts 4 hours + but I was wrong. Although I saw many of the cast first time act, I think most of them did a great job. The story is incredible and the surroundings fit in great. I didn't realize how the time pass and at the end of it I wished it would go on. The story itself has many things in it. Horror, drama, tragedy, crime and even romance. Definitely worth to watch and worth the time spend watching it. 9 out of 10.
