Red Dragon (2002)
Amazing........
Wow..... This film is beyond explanation. it had not only the expected incredible acting from greatly acclaimed stars such as Anthony Hopkins, Edward Norton, and Harvey Keitel, but it also had excellent cinematography, screenplay, lighting, and kept an interesting, gripping, and twisted plot. the list goes on and on about the extraordinary elements that made this a 4 star film. i was very impressed.
Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
I gave it a 3 cuz it made me laugh
I know this might be "sacreligious" to some horror movie buffs, but Michael Myers really needs to die now. Once you have to throw Busta Rhymes into a movie, its just really sad. I did enjoy the twist it gave following the ending of H20, but other than that, it was a total waste of time.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Unbelievable special effects plus Yoda brings it
This movie was quite impressive. The awesome special effects (included in nearly every scene) were a major highlight of this film. The plot was very long-winded and drawn out, but necessary for the beginning of the explanation of Episodes IV, V, and VI. Also, what i consider the main thing that you will remember from this film, is the scene where Yoda battles with Dooku in a light saber duel. Yoda, who is usually slow-moving with the aid of a cane, brings the ultimate example of Jedi skill and style ever seen in a Star Wars movie. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just leave it like that.
The bottom line is that this is truly a film for the obsessive Star Wars movie-goer. There are many phrases in the dialogue that foreshadow what happens in Episodes IV, V, and VI. Great flick and a landmark in visual effects for future films to come.
The New Guy (2002)
Who Dat?
The film itself was a little lame, but had its moments. DJ Qualls did a good job as did Eddie Griffin, but what made this movie worth seeing is the many celebrity cameos such as: Vanilla Ice, Kool Mo Dee, Henry Rollins, Gene Simmons, Horatio Sanz, Tony Hawk, Lyle Lovett, Jerry & Charlie O'Connell, and Tommy Lee. It was great to see these guys in the movie and it made the film all the more enjoyable to watch.
Natural Born Killers (1994)
Horrible. Simply horrible.
Probably the worst movie i have ever seen. Just when i thought it couldn't get any worse; it turned into a black & white 50's-style television show parody entitled "I Hate Lucy" or something like that. It was disturbing and creative, but i do not see how anyone could think this is a masterpiece or even a good movie.
