Maria (2019)
This deserves a sequel but this time, horror elements like zombie apocalypse
It doesn't get any better that this movie is fantastic. Maria's family was killed by Kaleb the antagonist and the final scene stated that Maria wants her family back. I mean, if Kaleb may be resurrected as a zombified version, this might be as bloody as it gets. And Maria hope she will be finding a new husband who happens to be tougher than Kaleb. Kaleb deserves to be a zombie but Viva will someday make a sequel with a combination of horror and zombies. Afterwards, a new era of Maria might be as deadly right now. All the actions, all the blood, all the mayhem and all the non-stop chaos. Who wants to see the sequel anyway?
Dying to Teach: The Killing of Mary Eve Thorson, Educators Who Bully (2012)
What was this? A cheaper one?
Sometimes documentaries in cheap editing software was just getting a little complicated right now. Anyway, I've seen Thomson doing a lot of bad stuff during her teaching career but somehow ended in a tragic suspension along with her suicide. Without further or do, let me explain. The film was made in MS Movie Maker and some pics were completely zooming on the left side rather than steady, and the narration looked a lot dopier even Myra may have created this on purpose. Plus some YouTube videos had lesser popularity if only some YouTuber, like Coffeehouse Crime, will be making one so that other ones can do so. Yet still, a silly, suicidal movie.
Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme (2023)
A must-have horror experience like never before.
It's been 9 years since the fifteenth installment came to an end until Regal made a surprising announcement for the franchise to comeback. All the scariness. All the bloodiness. And all the mayhem. Iza has finally came back since SRR 8 but one day there will be a new SRR film the might be as more scarier than previous installments. I also praise the 3 directors who worked so hard with all of the support and care and the cast was nearly remarkable in their chemistry. Sadly, it's a shame that not only the movie never qualify for the MMFF, it was the second film that never premiere on every December most likely it was premiered on November.
Unforgettable (2019)
A wonderful story inspired by Shiloh.
It's funny when Sarah G's performance might a little tippy as it was. I mean, her mental breakdown and her granny really ticked me off a bit. It's crazy that having a dog from an unknown owner would be more fascinating and inspirational ever since. As a similarity, Shiloh the wonder dog would always have the main characters side throughout. The song was amazing, the guests are a little woody, and even the setting was just more typical. And the best part, the climatic ones might be more shocky to see. I'm sure if there's any sequel for this, John Lloyd might be there as well.
BTW, if only somebody wanted to make a horror sequel of Wag Kang Lilingon that featured Anne Curtis as Nurse Gem in the same hospital at the same time.
Video City: Be Kind, Please Rewind (2023)
An overcomplicated nostalgic of discontinuation.
Nobody ever knows why they made this movie about a man goes back in time to a discontinued video rental store. The story looked horrible and the product placements are frequentless. I felt bad that Viva and GMA made this because everybody wanted to stick with streaming instead. One day if only Video City will be brought back alongside MagnaVision and Odyssey. But who cares? Plus, the actors are a bit too woody to say the least. Overall, I gave this film 1/10 because who cares about this nostalgia at all. I'm a bit surprised that nobody is making a sequel that would definitely hurt the entire movie at all.
Scream (1996)
Better than Scream 5. Your move, Kevin.
The first film was completely fantastic. The characters are perfect, the scenes were eerie and gory, the villains are killing each other and, oh yes, more blood. Wes Craven did a lot of hardwork on that film. I would recommend watching the first one, it's way better than the lame Scream 5 thanks to the creator who almost ruined the franchise. And to put things up, I even put my own verdicts on the sequels:
Scream 2 - (8/10 Good)
Scream 3 - (6/10 Ok)
Scream 4 - (10/10 💯💯💯)
Scream 5 - (-100000000/10 👎)
Scream 6 - (4/10 Why?)
At least Scream 7 might NOT be happening this time. But anyway, this is a must-watched one.
Scream (2022)
Get Kevin Williamson out of our misery and put "5" on it.
This is a really bad movie. At first, people say the movie looks good but the title might be as extremely criticized that totally confuses the first film. If you think this is bad, Scream 6 made a follow up because Neve didn't make it to the film. All we want was to confront Kevin by adding number 5 on the title so there will be no criticisms going on. Worst of all, Wikipedia has a LOT of problems now. Many of those kept adding "5" and some of them had removed it so that they won't lose their jobs as users and others are getting upset at them. At least now, Scream 7 will soon by cancelled all because Kevin almost ruined the franchise. This means war. And Ghostface is waiting...
Working Boys 2: Choose Your Papa (2023)
No connection
The sequel seems a bit good but the problem is that this had no connection to the involvements of Tito, Vic and Joey. Also, they didn't make their guest appearances at all. At first, the characters are looking bland, the storyline looks atrocious, and the soundtrack seems like it came from a stock library. Still, I wouldn't recommend how much people disliked the movie but maybe I guess they should stick with the TVJ so we can all have a good laugh at all. Side note for the person responsible for this is that he should be ashamed for not putting the trio there. And before I close this statement, I hope nobody is making the third one.
Teen Titans Go!: Superhero Feud (2020)
A horrible idea.
A very wasted episode nobody will ever watch it. None of the existing counterparts, such as TTG Bumblebee, ever return all because of Michael and Aaron. Somebody please cancel the crossover movie.
Ala eh... con Bisoy Hale-Hale-Hoy! Laging panalo ang mga unggoy (1998)
A really awful one
This movie has a lot of intense hilariousness that will leave you speechless. The characters were completely dumb, the setting was reused from other films, and the names were too butchery.
Waktu Rehat (2010)
No Filipino version.
Too bad Disney wasn't making a Filipino version because if this was supposed to be improving.
Si Agimat si Enteng Kabisote at si ako (2012)
Home video?
Too bad Octoarts were on strike as it was supposed to be released on home video. Luckily, a Youtuber had recorded this on theaters.
Haba-baba-doo! Puti-puti-poo! (1998)
Hilarious!
Everyone loves the performances of Babalu and Redford White. Especially when they're just too idiotic for us to watch.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
What? No Tom & Jerry?
Where did Tom & Jerry go? There were supposed to make cameos as guest players during half-time.
DC Super Hero Girls (2019)
#UnleashedTheJoker
I'm expecting that we should let the staff members and Amanda Rynda to bring The Joker in the show. We can't wait. (And we should let Amanda decide who his voice actor is).
iCarly: iStart Over (2021)
Terrible idea.
I hate to say about this but 2007 fans were supposed to see Carly returning home from Italy. But this one is making me nuts. The plot becomes a mess, the profanities that Dan Schneider doesn't like (unless he will get a deal from Comedy Central), and the cast, including Miranda that fans became clueless, was useless. Somebody at Paramount+ will have to cancel that before anyone starts a mayhem. This. Ends. Now. #EndiCarlyNow.
DC Super Hero Girls: #AmBatgirl Part 1 (2021)
Title disaster!
How the heck did the writers forgot to put the letter "I" on it? We need Amanda Rynda to explain and correct this error. This is not over yet. And is it supposed to be fixed on reruns?
DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power (2021)
No PS4/Xbox One?
It's a shame that PS4 and Xbox One gamers were supposed to get that but only Nintendo can do that. Too bad Sony and Microsoft would be disappointed for it. Wonder if Codemasters/WB Games can do that for PS4/Xbox One?
Huan Le Xi Ju Ren (2017)
Mr. Bean (and Evander)
I love how Mr. Bean made his appearance in this so-called Chinese movie, as well as Evander Hollifield. Rowan Atkinson would be very proud of it.
Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans (2019)
New ways
This movie is the best. I wonder if DC Super Hero Girls have that story too? Like G2 meeting their G1 counterparts. So for example, the lineups might be changed that Raven will join the Hero Girls in case the G2 Trigon will appear.
Heneral Luna (2015)
Fascinating.
Marvelous and most fantastic movie even though it wasn't selected by the Oscars for Best International Picture. I'm pretty sure there will be a new movie that was based on Ninoy Aquino that happened on August 21, 1983.
Moron 5.2: The Transformation (2014)
Huge Humor
Too bad this movie had nothing to do but filled with a bunch of jokes such as Michaelangelo complaining to Isaac about "Moron 4" or Becky telling the accomplices about comedy movies that Wenn directed and even Part 3, which is not happening.
