Jee, where have I seen this with a much more gorgeous protagonist?
Oh yes, it was Travis Fimmel in: "Tarzan" year of production 2000. Check it out to see the real thing.
Great series of only, unfortunately, 8 episodes. Producers always do the same thing, as it gets interesting... they leave us with the flavour in the mouth!!!
And this one has the same premises, 3 millionaires, father, mother and a very young son, lost in a plane crash, who knows where. Only here it is in snowy mountains, whereas "Tarzan" happened in the hot jungle.
But, after all, again, whoever is left in the family wants to control the "billion company business" and don't need a "pretty" savage to appear from nowhere to take their treasures from them.
It seems that in these present series it won't be a good looking police woman and an "aunt" saving the lost soul, but a teacher of martial arts. It had to have a difference!
In any case, to me, it shows that script writers have lost inspiration to put on paper something unique and interesting and they recur to copy good former ideas and re-make a more elaborate and boring series.
With my blessings!

Good night every one.
I give a 3 stars to this movie, out of pity, because in my opinion it deserves a -3.
How could you, Matt, accept to work in such a... melé of monstrosities?
It is a melange of horror, scifi of the worst quality, disconcerting adventures, bad script, nonsensical situations, and exuberant beasts, by more tons, that MGI can put in ten movies of the Jurassic times. It's like millions of ants running away from their burning nest. Only the beasts of this movie have the size of a whale.
All in all we can add to this lunacy the very advanced defenders of the Wall, more valiant than Wonder Woman with artifacts of war that the Russians would had paid in gold to have for their Revolution. That is what I saw in this film, other people might boo me.
Blessings!

Obviously, Mr. denizmoraligil, you had not to deal by proxy with no one suffering of the "much the same in the movie". Because if you had, nothing but "that much the same" would be important in your life.
You have 24/7, with luck/ 364 days to think "much in the same". There is no future to plan, there is no happiness to program and pursue, there is not even joy in watching a sunset, or in listening a symphony.
And if you are lucky enough in finding love and have the valour to let yourself immerse in the feeling, it will never be without remembering that "to get a Rainbow you'll had to do with the rain".
So, Mr. denizmoraligil, may God forbid that you experience that "much of the same", but also may God grant you a bit of charity and understanding to be able to discover the hidden beauty that some people have the heart to let out and accept even in the dreadful monotony of every one of their days, hours and seconds.
To me, this movie is a "master piece" that shades feelings, worthy of 10*.
